This will be a short one. Things have been pretty wild lately, and I haven’t had a ton of time to work. Long story short, the town I live in has become pretty unsafe, especially for children, so I have been busting my hump trying to find a new place to move. We’ve been consistently looking for a house for about 2 years now, but the market is so bad, we haven’t felt comfortable moving forward. Lord willing, we will find somewhere soon.

However, the doesn’t mean exciting things aren’t happening! Earlier this month, an editor accepted the script. He is currently looking it over. I don’t want to say who yet, because I am not sure if they want people knowing they are doing editing work. It’s someone who I really respect and who has been in the comic business for nearly 20 years. This is the first time I have had a professional look over something I’ve written, so I’m pretty anxious to hear his notes. He should be getting back to me by the first week of October. I’ll spend a few weeks going over his notes and finalizing the script. Then it’s time to find an artist!

Thank You

This newsletter has seen fairly consistent growth. I am extremely grateful for everyone who has decided to come on this journey with me. It’s may sound cheesy, but this newsletter has really helped me stay focused and on track. I’m not sure I’d be this far without it. I for sure want to do something special for everyone who signs up. I have a few awesome ideas, but we’ll talk more about that as we get closer to the actual campaign.

What’s Next?

Next month will probably be another shorter letter. I will share all of the notes the editor gave me, and will hopefully be talking about searching for an artist! Until then, all the best!

In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity.
